Froot Loops is a brand of breakfast cereal produced by Kellogg's and sold in the United States, Mexico, Canada, New Zealand, Australia,South Korea, Philippines, Thailand, Germany, Hungary, The Middle East, South Africa, Latin America, Sweden and Finland. The cereal pieces are ring-shaped (hence "loops") and come in a variety of bright colors and a blend of natural fruit flavors. Kellogg's introduced Froot Loops in 1966. Originally, there were red, orange, and yellow loops, but green, purple, and blue were added during the 1990s.

Toucan Sam is the mascot of Froot Loops. Toucan Sam is a fictional cartoon character and should not be confused with the Guatemalan and Mexican toucan variety used by the Maya Archeology Initiative[1] in their logo.

Kellogg's has made several varieties of Froot Loops, including snack bags called Snack Ums. Snack Ums were just like the cereal, only bigger. Their slogan was "Super sized bites with deliciously intense natural fruit flavors"..."Flavor Bursting!"[2]

Froot Loops branding by Kellogg's was also used with the Froot Loops cereal bar.[3]
